We are committed to supporting the various perspectives, customs, and backgrounds that we all bring to the table while developing self-awareness that encourages an understanding of a culturally diverse world view. Additionally, we will challenge ourselves to address our own assumptions and biases to understand the world view and perspective of others. Together, our hope is to grow together and work to develop skills to meet the cultural needs of others.
As an organization WFAI is committed to diversity and inclusion through action, not just as a box to check. We have created a Task Force that will identify opportunities and occasions to engage with all WFAI team members to create initiatives surrounding diversity and inclusion. The goals and responsibilities of the Task Force will include discussion and proposal of such initiatives and actions to enhance the understanding of diversity and inclusion issues, promote the development and advancement of underrepresented groups in our organization, and help to create a work environment that is free of harassment and bullying.
