Dr. Hulst is a passionate podiatrist that was first drawn to the profession because of the interest and challenge of disease and injury involving the lower extremity. He has since built a career that focuses on providing each patient with quality care.
Dr. Hulst’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Calvin College followed by a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine, Summa Cum Laude, from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed the AO Trauma Fellowship at Vincenz and Elisabeth Hospital in Mainz, Germany, Diabetic Foot Fellowship at Wayne State University, and a Surgical Residency specializing in advanced foot and ankle surgery at Hutzel Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Hulst has extensive experience handling trauma and treatment of the forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle. In addition to his educational and professional pursuits, he volunteers with Healing the Children, a nonprofit that offers medical services to underprivileged children in third-world countries.
Dr. Hulst is a Board-Certified podiatrist and a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He also serves as clinical assistant professor for Michigan State University.
