Dr. David is passionate about every aspect of podiatry, but holds a special place in his heart for pediatric care. He studied directly under the world-renowned Dr. Ignacio Ponseti and was the first physician in West Michigan to become certified in the Ponseti method of clubfoot treatment for children. He has also spent his time volunteering with Healing the Children, a non-profit that connects underserved children with proper medical care.
Dr. David’s education begins with a degree in Medical Technology from Michigan State University, followed by a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed a Surgical Residency at Thorek Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. After completing his educational requirements, he moved to Grand Rapids to start his practice and merged with another practice before joining Weil Foot & Ankle.
Dr. David’s professional certifications and memberships include being a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics and a clinical instructor for Michigan State University. Dr. David has served as President of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association Western Division. He is Board-Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery and a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
